For over a thousand days, Ukrainians have shown the world their courage, resilience and commitment to a just and sustainable peace

Ukraine is grateful for the investment of their allies and partners into enabling Ukraine to defend its citizens, their homes and the country’s borders, protect sea and land corridors, restore damaged energy infrastructure, and much more. President Zelenskyy’s Victory Plan includes a focus on the country’s strategic economic potential, inviting partners to both protect Ukraine’s critical resources, while pursuing joint investment opportunities to develop its vast resource wealth. Those backing Ukraine now and contributing to its victory – including creating jobs, paying taxes and investing in opportunities now – will reap the greatest rewards. Ukraine has natural resources worth $26 trillion, equivalent to the mineral wealth of Canada or Australia, containing 1/3 of Europe’s proven lithium reserves and second only to Norway in gas reserves in Europe. Ukraine is a prize not a burden, and home to trillions of dollars of investment in the coming years.

Aligning Interests: The U.S., Ukraine and a Path to a Just and Sustainable Peace

Ukraine, with $26 trillion of metals and minerals under the ground is a minerals super power like Canada. It feeds hundreds of millions of people with its agricultural strength like the US. It has the manufacturing potential of Germany with engineers, technologists and world class creative people. Ukraine is on the cutting edge of defense tech with drones and missiles like Israel. Ukraine will power its future with new generation nuclear, gas from America, Qatar, and Central Asia, and its own hydro and wind power. Ukraine’s mayors want smart cities powered but new generation of energy. Ukraine’s people want to buy Western consumer goods. Ukraine will join the EU in the next 5 years which will bring trade and investment opportunities, and hundreds of billions paid by Europe for Ukraine’s infrastructure funding. Ukraine’s reconstruction is arguably the biggest investment opportunity of the next 20 years. A win for Ukraine means Ukraine’s metals, weapons, food and technologies do not go to Russia, Iran, North Korea and their allies. Instead, Ukraine takes its rightful place in Europe and the West.
